A local guide talks to tourists in the courtyard of the Jahangir Mahal (Palace) at Orchha. Thr courtyard is surrounded by verandahs, balconies, domes, pavilions, cupolas, chhatris, made from carved sandstone. This was one of the palaces built by the Bundela rajas during the seventeenth century. A few remaining lapis lazuli blue ceramic tile give a indication of that the palace must have looked like when it was first built. Orchha, Madhya Pradesh, Republic of India 06 December 2008
