A bright and vibrant seventeenth century mural paintings in the royal apartments of Jahangir Mahal (Palace) at Orchha depicts Ganesh and attendants. The palace was built by the Bundela rajas during the seventeenth century and the murals illustrate the quality and opulence of the palace when it was new.
