A traditional flat-roofed house in the village of Rangdum in Zanscar.. Wood for fuel and hay and new mud bricks are stored on the roof . The flat roof and outdoor storage reflects the very low rainfall. A hay fiels is protected from wandering stock by a dry stone wall. Rangdum, Zanscar, Ladakh. 20Sep11
