The Patagonian Bumblebee (Bombus dahlbomii) on lavender flowers. This bee is being out-compteted by the Eurpoean Buff Tailed Bubblebee (Bombus terrestris) introduced for fruit tree pollination. Bombus terrestis competes with Bombus dahlbornii and spreads the parasite Apicystis bombi. El Chaltén, Argentina. 02Mar13
